May 2019, Friendship Delegation of Yunnan Province led by H.E Mr. Li Pei, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of People"s Congress of Yunnan province visited Ministry of Commerce of Pakistan, National Agricultural Research Center and Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) to promote 2019 South & Southeast Asia Commodity Expo and Investment Fair as well as to deepen the exchange and cooperation in economy, culture and tourism between Yunnan province and Pakistan.

During the visit, the delegation came to the ORO office in Islamabad for inspection and guidance. Deputy Director Ms. Sun Yan of provincial department of commerce instructed the ORO to be a promoter, a coordinator, a window, a facilitator and a bridge of enterprises of Pakistan and those of Yunnan Province to enhance the bi-lateral relations.
