GDP: The GDP of Yunnan in 2018 reached RMB 1788.112 billion, increasing by 8.9% and ranking third in the country; the added value of the primary industry reached RMB 249.886 billion, with year-on-year growth of 6.3%; the added value of the secondary industry reached RMB 695.744 billion; the added value of the tertiary industry reached RMB 842.482 billion, with year-on-year growth of 7.6%.

Industry: The industry above designated size saw a year-on-year growth of 11.8% in added value. The growth rate was 5.6 percentage points higher than the national level, ranking second in the country.

Agriculture: The added value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery reached RMB 255.278 billion, with year-on-year growth of 6.3% which ranked second in the country.

Tourism: Yunnan received 7.061 million overseas tourists and 681 million domestic tourists. The total tourism revenue reached RMB 899.144 billion, increasing by 5.75%, 20.24% and 29.89% respectively.
