On March 22nd, Mr. Li Ping director of Overseas Representative Office (ORO) in Pakistan visited National Agricultural Research Center of Pakistan (NARC). The both sides discussed on strengthening the exchanges and cooperation between Yunnan and Pakistan in the fields of fruits, vegetables and crops cultivation.

Li ping introduced the modern plateau characteristics agriculture in Yunnan province. He said that Yunnan ranks second in tea planting area and output in China and first in flower planting area and output. 98% of coffee in China is produced in Yunnan. Meanwhile, Yunnan province is striving to bring its vegetables, fruits and other green food into world-class brands.

Besides the meeting, D.G. Dr. Ali of NARC showed the visitors around some institutes in the center.
