China Southern Airlines (CSA) will launch a direct flight between Kunming, China and Islamabad, Pakistan on December 25. This was underlined in a meeting between the Airline’s Branch office in Pakistan and the Overseas Representative Office of Yunnan Commerce in Pakistan.

It is reported that this is the first international route from the local origin opened by the Yunnan branch of CSA. This route has been in preparation since June this year. The opening of this route fills the gap of international routes of Kunming airport, which can not only drive the economic growth of the two countries, but also increase the depth and breadth of bilateral relations, especially tourism and people exchange.

The flight number from Kunming to Islamabad is CZ6051. The flight number from Islamabad to Kunming is CZ6052. Flight frequency will be 3 times a week and the time taken by the flight is nearly four hours while the return flight will take five hours.
